On Saturday, September 11, MWR will be holding a special run - the "We Will Never Forget" 5K - to remember the victims of the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Both runners and walkers are invited to join us at Sumay Cove Marina; show time is 5:00pm and start time is 5:30pm. Once you arrive, make your way to the registration booth, where you will receive a card with the name of a 9/11 victim on it. We ask that you pin the card to your person in order to dedicate your run to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Before the run there will be a moment of silence in memory of the day our country was attacked and so many lives were lost.

It is FREE to run, but you can purchase an optional t-shirt for $8 (pre-reg) or $10 (day-of). Please register at CKG by September 4, 9:00pm. For more information, call 564-1824/5.
